Today’s topic is about how to detox your body and help to get that so many times dreamed flat belly body with this amazing one morning drink- WARM LEMON WATER!





It is insanely inexpensive to make, keeps skin glowing, aids in digestion, can help you lose weight and is packed with vitamin C!

Lemon Water Nutrition Facts:-

Lemons are loaded with healthy benefits, and particularly, they’re a great vitamin C food source. One cup of fresh lemon juice provides 187 percent of your daily recommended serving of vitamin C. Lemon juice also offers up a healthy serving of potassium, magnesium and copper.




How to make it.


  1. Heat up one glass of water for around 5-7 minutes till the water warm up
  2. Squeeze one lemon into it.
Your drink is ready! Have it first in the morning in empty stomach.

 It will help you more in loosing fat from your belly and waist areas.

 PS:- Exercises and proper diet should also be a part of your routine.

DIY: Remove under eye dark circles using this 1 simple trick | Girly things bar

It’s DIY (Do it yourself) time guys! Today I will talk about very interesting topic: under eye dark circles.


.

Under eye dark circles are the common problem today for every Pearson! In lucky cases you can erase them by avoid them by their main causes.

Let’s take a look about how they are actually caused!

·         Lack of sleep and an unhealthy diet
·         Heredity
·         Dry skin
·         Prolonged crying
·         Working for long hours in front of a computer/Mobile
·         Aging
·         Mental or physical stress

It is not a serious cause but it makes you look older and tired! So just make sure to take care of it regularly to escape this ASAP.

Personally I had very deep under eye circles L but after researching I started to take care every day and today results are here! So I thought to share it with you guys!
One simple trick to remove dark circles forever!

You will need:
1.    Coconut oil





2.    Almond oil





3.    Green tea leaves




4.    2 bowls

5.    Container to store it.

How to make:
  • Take 2 table spoons of coconut oil and almond oil in a small bowl.
  • Now take other bowl and fill it with water, Place it on the stove.
  • After a while when water starts to boil place your other bowl on top of it and let the oil mixture heat up for 5 minutes.
  • Now add 2 tea spoon green tea leaves into the mixture and let all three ingredients mix up for 15 minutes.
  • Let the mixture cool to the room temperature. After filtering store it in a container.


Your remedy is ready!

Massage your under eye with this mixture every night before going to sleep without fail and you will see the magic in 15 days! I BET.

Food Myths: 5 food beliefs are not helping you to LOSE WEIGHT! | Girly things bar


Actually we are surrounded by many misunderstandings when it comes to dieting and that’s the reason many of you failed to achieve your goals.


"If you want to be slim and trim stop eating rice, don’t eat after 8 pm, avoid bananas and potatoes, no tea and coffee, skip eating totally~! "




How many times you have been advised to make these changes in your daily life by your friends and relatives when you said you wish to lose weight to become slim and trim!?


All the time! Right?  And you started following all those without realizing that it may not work for you in order to lose weight.


Let’s look at some beliefs associated with dieting and the actual effect they have on you.

Belief #1 Stop eating to rice, potatoes and bananas they are full of fats!






Man! Why?? If you are vegan and health conscious you will relate that these three foods are the like chickens in vegetarian diet! Right?


Start making your own choice by eating one banana in your breakfast or snack routine without thinking about your calorie count. Banana in the morning will not only provide you with a dose of potassium, fibre, vitamin C, etc. but will also provide you with energy which will help you to be energetic throughout the day.


Where yo need to be careful while eating rice is stop mindless eating and control portion size. Rice contains methionine which helps mobilise fat from the liver.

Potatoes are actually very healthy but not when we use it by FAULTY COOKING  like deep frying (chips, cutlet, French fries, etc.) But if they are included sensibly in diet it can protect against cardiovascular disease and cancer due to high potassium and Vitamin B6.


Belief #2  Late night meals means hello fatty :-p

This is one of the most believed myths ever!


But your weight is a result of what you eat throughout the day and not just at night. It is advisable to eat whenever you are carving for food but feed your stomach with right things like fruits, juices and all healthy stuff ONLY!!


Belief #3 Don’t eat outside while you are dieting~~


It’s true that all fast foods are unhealthy but still you can treat yourself by following these tips: -


  •  Don't take much high-calorie toppings like cheese, butter, mayonnaise; instead you can go for salsa, garlic dip, etc.
  •  Order fresh fruit juice or milkshake rather than soft drinks (Thumbs up, coca cola etc).
  •  Choose salad based wraps and burgers.
  •  Ask for steamed, baked or grilled items rather than deep fried.


Belief #4 Eat less, weigh less

 

GUYS DO NOT EVER THINK THAT EATING LESS IS GOING TO LOSE YOUR WEIGHT!!

If you eat less or skip meals you will end up eating more lately when you are extremely hungry! So that can be a major reason for weight gain! So start eating your meals in small parts throughout the day. I will explain this topic more in my future post!



Belief #5 Vegetarians are devoid of good protein sources






This is the most wrong thought we have in our mind!


I always shout that there are plenty of options for vegans too! (IF YOU WANT TO APPLY). Include at least three servings of milk and milk products (one glass milk, one cup curd (Dahi), 40g paneer), soybean, one serving of nuts to meet your protein requirement.



 So here are some of the beliefs that stops your diet process in wrong way! Go through the depth of any thing before you apply it in your diet and you will be never distracted!

Use vaseline petroleum jelly like never before! | Girly things bar

Hello my beautiful girls! I am here with this amazing new post, Use vaseline petroleum jelly in totally different ways apart from lips and skin care!

Yes! That petroleum jelly you have on your hand can do so many more jobs!

You can use it during the year with these following uses,


1) Bye bye dry skin!

Combine it with sugar to make a DIY natural scrub to exfoliate your skin. Trust me it added a new life to my skin!

2) Long lasting fragrance    



Apply it on your pulse points like your wrists and the sides of your neck, before spritzing on perfume. Your scent will last the entire day!

3) Remove eye makeup. 



 Stop using harmful chemicals to sensitive areas like eyes, just coat your lids with Vaseline petroleum jelly, and then gently clean it with a tissue.

 4) Set unruly eyebrows.


Take petroleum jelly on your fingertip or a clean mascara wand and sweep across brows in one direction, from inside to out.

5) Say bye bye to split ends.



Coat ends to conceal dryness and frizz when you're between trims. You can also rub a little between your hands and use as hair wax for texture or to smooth flyaways. Wash it out with a clarifying shampoo.

6) Highlight cheekbones.



Now easily fake a model's bone structure by patting and blending a tiny amount across cheekbones. The shine attracts light and creates a contoured effect!

7) Protect your skin from hair dye/colors.

Smooth a layer at your hairline before using home color and you'll avoid hard-to-remove dark stains.

8) Soften skin. 



Before going to bed, rub petroleum jelly on places where skin is extra-dry, like on your elbows or the heels of your feet. Skin will be super-soft when you wake up.

9) Stop squeaks.

Apply to squeaky hinges on doors or cabinets to keep them quiet.

10) Stretch your lotion.

Running low on your favorite moisturizer? Add petroleum jelly to prolong its life.

11) DIY a perfect manicure.



Put a little around your nails when you're DIY-ing a manicure or pedicure to keep polish from getting on your skin.

12) Remove rings and bangles.

Stuck ring or bangles? Petroleum jelly can help it to slide off easily.


So here are some of the uses I have tried in my daily routine and life has been simpler for me!

5 ways to stop hair fall this monsoon! | Girly things bar

Hello my girls! Its been a great monsoon season around and i hope everybody is enjoying the rain for sure! Personally i love rains and love to enjoy them..

But it lead you to lose hair while showering, which is largely unavoidable. The same thing rain is doing to your hair by natural shower :-D.

Better than ever you can control this thing because i have these amazing 5 hair fall control tips will ensure that no amount of rain can force your hair to leave your scalp!




Tip #1 Try to keep your hair dry!

Try to keep your hair dry during this rainy season. Because in normal cases women tends to loose 40 to 60 hair stands at each wash! **breath** But that can be double in amount when you are in the rain! Yes! you read it right! So just grab all your shower caps, umbrella or raincoat whatever just chose your way to keep your hair dry at maximum stage!


Tip #2 Keep your hair clean / Shampoo regularly




Make it your routine to shampoo your hair two times in a week. It is the most  important thing that can keep your hair clean so it will minimize the number of hair fall . It is very important to maintain a healthy scalp and take a bath when you have been walking in the rain. As rainy water left on your scalp for longer time makes you feel itchy and your hair is even susceptible to bacterial or fungal infections and may even lead to dandruff.


Tip #3 Oil your hair regularly





This is one of my must have habit because i have frizzy dry hair!

Take time off from your busy schedule and take a hair oil of your choice and give your hair strands a natural gift of moisture that can hydrate and revitalize the driest strands in brisk temperatures. Massage the oils till the scalp absorbs some and for deep conditioning you can even put on a plastic cap or a hot towel(Will explain it hot towel in future posts briefly!).


Tip #4 Maintain healthy protein diet




Salmon, eggs, carrots, whole grains, dark green veggies, kidney beans, nuts and low-fat dairy products are all rich sources of protein. And protein is one of the most essential nutrients for strong hair besides being the building blocks of the body. So yes, you win both ways when you embrace the requisite amount of protein intake in your diet.


Tip #5 Avoid hair styling products as more you can!






Due to the excess humidity in the air owing to the monsoon season, chemical based products will make your hair very greasy. Besides feeling icky and causing hair fall, it can also damage your scalp and cause dandruff too. So girls! go natural and you will see the difference; Mother Nature has a solution for everything that has a chemical counterpart. All you have to do is some hustle!


So here are the five major trick to stop hair fall in monsoon season , try to follow these on a daily basis and you will see a quick response in couple of weeks!
